These portraits explore the resilience, strength, and courage of women who left behind their homes, families, professions, and familiar landscapes in search of safety, opportunity, and a future. Their stories are marked by loss, but they are equally defined by determination. They have learned to navigate new cultures, new languages, and new identities while preserving the parts of themselves that no border can erase.
