When the Time Comes

Death is often spoken of as something to resist, postpone, or fear. Yet for many older adults, it gradually becomes part of everyday life—a reality acknowledged with quiet acceptance rather than despair. This series explores the relationship between aging and mortality, portraying the moments in which people make peace with the finite nature of life. Through intimate portraits and daily rituals, it reflects on what it means to be ready, not because life has lost its value, but because it has been fully lived.
